In addition to the chair, the cart features many useful and innovative features and is able to transport a fully-loaded cooler, several beach bags, as well as toys and gear, while its over-sized wheels and specially designed tread pattern allow for easy conveyance over sand or hard surfaces. Once on the beach, the cart separates into a chair with multiple reclining positions, complete with side table and a built-in cooler that features dual doors to allow for access while the top surface is being used. Working alongside beachTuff, design innovation firm BOLTgroup provided industrial design and engineering on the product, having been challenged to come up with the mechanical and ergonomic solutions to realise the concept.
